But it is a large TypeScript monorepo. The editor itself lives in packages/excalidraw/ and the excalidraw.com shell (welcome screen, menus, sharing) in excalidraw-app/. Small changes to text, colours and the welcome screen are approachable; canvas and drawing changes are hard.
